This video is of a Roman Fortress called Arbeia which is in my home town of South Shields in the North of England. The fort is called Arbeia which means "The place of the Arabs", and it was manned by Syrian soldiers who were drafted into the Roman army. The fort was used as a storage depot to supply the troops in the area. I know...more history information.

Hmm, the link does not work but I was able to cut and paste the URL. Not much left of the place except for one building and a whole lot of foundations. I think the most "exciting" part was the close call with the flock of birds that flew in front of you!
