unable to lift off

I just got my new DJI FPV.  I am slowly trying to power up with the left stick in mode2 however only the front props seem to be lifting up. The rear ones are spinning but unable to lift. I stopped before the drone topples over backwards. I double checked the propellers and they are mounted correctly.  Could this be a problem with the motors ? Should I return for a new one ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

are you sure? give it a good press of throttle and it might just work if they all spin at engine start

Yes I’m sure. I’ll take a picture or video of it. I just don’t want to crash it in case I have to return it.

The motors seem to spin up fine but there is no lift on the back.

When the drone lifts it lifts the front first until its level then it lifts off. It pivots on the rubber feet of the battery.

If you're worried video the first lift off and if it tips over, you will have proof that it was faulty!

Just make doubly sure the props are on the right way round, I know you have checked but just check again to be sure.

Are you sure that the propellers are installed correctly?
You can provide a picture of the installation, we will help you to confirm it, And check if there is any abnormality in the  Goggles.

As others have said, give it throttle. The take off isn't graceful but once it's in the air it works great.

Get it a foot or more in the air and it should behave fine.

You can also watch NURK FPV's video to see how his friend almost had the same problem as you.

Looks like it needs full throttle I will try it today and report back (probably capture it on video just in case).

Here is the link to NURK FPV referenced above:

That is exactly how it seemed to take off.

That's about where I decided I wanted one of these. They talk about how much better the video image is from other DJI goggle experiences.

Having seen the video, I wasn't so surprised when the quad had a bit of trouble taking off.

Good luck on your first flight. I think the thing is crazy fun.

"It was me being a wuss on the throttle."
For what it's worth, I might have done the same if I hadn't seen the NURK FPV video.

I'm glad you're flying.

I had the same thoughts on my first few flights.
But like everyone who responded, give it more throttle.
