It’s very thin paint.
It was a concern. I flew it today and range was unaffected luckily.

I was going to say it looks fantastic but that doesn't really convey how cool it looks.

Hey mate. Just did a bit of reading and it seems that the aerials are in the front legs? How are you thinking the paint could affect range?

Im gonna paint mine like a JU 87 stuka dive bomber in yellow nose, it sounds like one when your bombing it too

Sorry I have no idea what the shell is.
Painted up alright.
I would suggest some fine grit sandpaper prior to first coat.

Hi mate. I would say it’s possible but I don’t know what it would affect.
I personally would air on the side of caution and not paint the rest of it.

I assume if I am looking for it then it is upside down and unable to take off again in which case the camo wouldn't make a difference.
Just use the find my drone function anyway =)

It makes a difference. A friend of mine stepped on his Mavic when he was looking for it in a deep meadow using the app.
