The HDMI Output Module for the Phantom 3 (Pro/Adv) can export 720P real-time images via an HDMI port.
It can be used in broadcasting or video monitoring.
It supports a double-screen display, and exports real-time images via the HDMI and USB ports.
Live data of flight controls, video feedback and the aircraft’s battery levels can be exported via the HDMI Output Module.
You can also choose to switch off the data display on your app.
This module can be mounted on the back of the Phantom 3‘s remote controller.
It includes a Mini-HDMI output port, Micro-USB port, USB port and a CAN expansion port.

If one then looks at the new board, which as it says in 1435 this means
which the board was produced in the 35 calendar week in 2014.

So, the whole retrofitting a large cheat?

Take it out of the design, to sell it expencive?

For what, the CAN-Bus port will be using?

I have an interesting question to whoever bought it and used it ! Does the FPV view coming out from HDMI lags like the view from an android device ?

Why i am asking this question, because i want to use an android device to control camera functions while using a motorola lap dock HDMI screen for live view.

Ok... but for the Phantom 3 this device is not shiped. No one can tell you 100%

On the Inspire you can install a android device to control the cam and a HDMI device to Show the Picture.

No, as laptop hdmi port sends signal out not in.

I imagine the HDMI output is aimed at people with FPV glasses...since I noticed a lot of threads asking what FPV set-ups would work with the P3P

Hi SkySurvey,

Yes, there is a toggle switch in the Image Transmission Settings that allows you to show or hide the OSD overlay on your external monitor. See the screenshot for a visual:

I can't seem to find a way to do it, but is there any chance that we are able to also export the mini-map in the lower-right hand corner to the HDMI output as one of the OSD elements? It would be awesome to have it displayed along with the video signal.

If not, then can you please accept this as a feature request, DJI?

What can be the raison that my Videosignal went down
it was the first time I used my HDMIboard and an external Monitor.
The distance was not that far(about 100 meters, hight 40 m))
I never had that before (70 flights)

Just got my board.  Are there any options other than the fatshark dominator hd that feature an HDMI input?  Or any kind of adapter that you could use to go from HDMI to an analog signal for some other goggles?

Unfortunately Zeiss has discontinued the excellent Cinemizer OLED glasses.

Some have recommended these:  http://www.amazon.com/3D-Video-Glasses-PC-Nebula/dp/B00HPQ29Q0

My Mini HDMI2AV converter does not seam to like the HDCP or non-HDCP from the P3 Controller.
The HDMI out from the P3 works on all displays, but not to the converter.
The converter works OK with other HDMI sources.
Any ideas on a other converter or similar?
I have FPV googles with Video in only.
