Is there a button or a switch to turn on audio? Every video I've uploaded is silent...

That's what I was kinda thinking.  So the vids online with audio must have a gopro attached right? I know it's pointless while flying cause you only hear the props, but it'd be nice because you can get some pretty smooth footage with the gimbal.. Thanks for the reply

Yup, no microphone on the Vision+. Pretty pointless to just have loud prop sounds.

I would like the option to have audio, but I knew going in that the Vision+ did not have a microphone. But only because of the research I did in advance. Some people don't see a need for the audio, but would be nice to at least have the option. So, with that said, you could always buy a cheap video recorder like this: http://www.banggood.com/Wholesal ... 80x960-p-48136.html to attach to the Phanmtom to then be able to sync the audio. It is inexpensive and very light. SHouldn't cause any performance issues. Just a thought for a workaround.

Why would you want the sound of the props?

Add effect during editing. And for whatever other reason any person might desire.

I take a iPod touch and record the audio, making a loud noise or shaking my drone before takeoff, than use an editing program to put the two files together. The movement of the grass helps.

Proof of concept, the HD Mini Recorder from Bangood ($14 free shipping) adds 0.5oz in weight (including velcro and MicrSD Card) and will record audio. Here it is pointing straight down, velcro'd to the underbody of the phantom. Away from any prop wind. The audio was still horrible, as there is no way to adjust record volume. I will add foam or tape to baffle the sound and try again. But this is proof it is possible for under $20.
