I will be flying my mini 2 with my tablet instead of a phone, so I want a longer usb c cable.  Is it possible to use just any standard usb c cable, like a 3 foot or 6 foot?

That should work as long as the connectors fit. I bought mine off Amazon (8" length) without any concerns. (MA2 remote is the same as a Mini 2 remote)

Gary Doug:  Where did you get the tablet mount?  I find that the one from DJI does not grip my Mini -4 very well.

I have both in use!

Any usb c capable rated for transferring data as well will be alright. The chord that comes with tablets and phones are usually capable of data and power transfer already.

I'm looking at a used Mini 2 missing the USB-C cable.

Is it USB-C on both ends??

Yep, and you really want the 90° connectors!

I've had issues finding the right cable for my Mini 2's controller.

1. Sometimes the end of the cable, where the cable strain relief block is, can be too thick to go in to the top of the remote.
2. I purchased a 30cm cable from eBay and it seems that one end of the cable is paired to one port on the remote.  For example, I bought a cable with the normal straight connector on one end and a right angled connector on the other end - the cable only works if i plug the right angled connector in to the bottom of the remote.


I'd welcome any suggestions for a decent 30cm cable with a right angled connector on one end.  if I have to pay a little over the odds for a good one from eBay, then that's what I'll do.

The Hanatora cable is almost £49 on Amazon UK - a bit more than I was expecting, but I know Amazon US sell the same cable for almost $9.

Sadly the CableCreation cable isn't available on Amazon UK.  

I just want to buy a good quality cable that I know will work and I can rely on each time I go out.
