It was a bit too much wind to fly safely, and my drone got taken by the wind atleast twice.

I didn't fly much and far, for after a while I just returned.
Mini 2 is great vs old Mini against strong wind, but the little weight can be a problem since it doesn't need strong wind to move it away.
But I made this short video, just to show the beauty of the wild snow covered plains.

I'm not sure how many m/s it was, but the drone weather app said only 6 m/s, but it was more with the gusty winds.

Thank you and yes it did, but twice I almost lost control of it. Once I almost fall to ground and second time I could almost not drive forward.

The drone weather app said it were only 6 m/s but in gusty wind it was more. My plan was to fly much further, but I didn't take the chance.
Temperature was just around freezing this day.

Yes the Mini 2 do really great in strong wind

Great winter footage.    Mini 2 is a great performer but you do have to be careful with wind gusts.

Nice video. You did nor say what mode you were in.  At the slower modes you may not have enough power.  In sport mode with the gimbal in either 90* down or 90* forward the app reduces the power so raise the gamble or lower the gamble 5+ * to gain the power back.

I flew on normal (middle speed can't remember name now).
I was waiting a while to see if I got it up to speed, so was ready to put it on Sports-mode to get more speed if needed.
