You guess correct. I made the mistake of getting fixed on the music. I should have spent longer on the text but that would have interrupted the pace and flow - should have had the courage to change the music.

Well, the music is great.
I often shorten the clips to the music and then shorten even more and have to cut out a peace of the music - though never did that with classical music which might be harder.

yes I have done that before - as well as deciding to change the sound track completely at the last minute, but this time it just seemed right - plus it has different challenges - my first time with someone else's photo's being included, my first time where there is so much focus on a person and also when the target audience is mainly village residents who will have less drone experience and an interest in seeing the familiar.
But it is a learning experience which is why I appreciate this forum.

It's a small world.  When I was doing researcher my next project I discovered there was some neolithic rock art literally up the road from my home of 35 years!!!

He was an interesting man but I only mentioned a small part of what I found out.  The poem at the end was on a bench dedicated to him.

I would like to add something to anyone that has looked this far.

One of the things about making this for me was the reminder of how good it can be to reach out.  I saw a photo of Harry online and reached out to Derek for his permission to use it.  The response from Derek was not only a yes but also more images that weren't online and a whole story about how they were taken etc.  This included the fact that he won a high level award for one of them.  He returned to Harry to share the award with him but, sadly, he discovered that Harry's funeral had taken place just 2 weeks earlier.

It reminded me of how I once wrote to Nelson Mandela out of courtesy to tell him I was going to use his image in a controversial art work (details on my website in the crucifixation part).  I did not expect a reply but got one - which included photos for me to use, newspaper cuttings and a book for my library.

This sort of thing has happened many times and has even got me into the heights of the Moscow State University and the secret passages in Warsaw's palace of Culture.

In many ways it is what makes this forum so good.
