This is an awesome way to watch the video footage you capture in 3D.

First, your footage has to be in mp4 format and 1080p only. Sorry 4k is too much for this. You will need an Android or an iPhone.

Next you will need Google Cardboard. What is Google Cardboard? It is basically a cardboard template that includes stereoscopic 3d lens and it turns your phone into a virtual reality headset. It is totally awesome.

Once you have your footage, your phone and Google cardboard grab the free app from the Google marketplace called VR Cinema.

Drop your Phantom mp4 footage on your phone. Drop your phone into your Google Cardboard, open VR Cinema, choose your footage and experience your flights in full 3D. I just started doing this and man it is awesome!

There are no Google Apps for iPads or iPhones...

So Android only for that 3-D rig... Me thinks.

Finding the VR Cinema app for the iPhone may be different though.

Oh, that's cool. Even though this method doesn't really interest me.
It's still good to know all options that are available for us to utilize, if we so choose.

Thanks for the link. I see it does exist. My bad...
