Hello,

I see there is a new firmware update that is 335.3mb in DJI FLY.

Is this safe to download? I see that it’s the same version #.  Please let me know if it’s safe. I don’t want another update issue like last time to happen to me.

No. Firmware. It just popped up in my DJI fly app when I posted this thread.

And I did every single update there was already especially after the flysafe error that occurred last week.

That’s crazy. I wonder why it’s trying to have me update to it if I been upgraded to it. I did every type of update there was when asked.

But this one is like going backwards.

Me too! but not holding my breath.

This can happen if you happen to update the firmware on any of the devices through the DJI Assistant. The next time you plug into DJI Fly, though, it won't recognize that the new firmware is already loaded, and it'll dumbly force you to refresh everything. I found this out with my setup and I had to let it go through the whole thing again via DJI Fly on my iPad....

Hey thanks for the reply but I haven’t used Assist since the beginning of the flysafe database problem. I don’t even have it installed in my computer any longer.

Everything was perfect yesterday when I went flying without any firmware update message until the A.M.  when it appeared.

Ah ok. I would agree to still not let it try to update. There's no documentation on it, so I wouldn't let my drone near it...

Correct. I’ll wait until I here something about this. Thank you.

I made the update yesterday and everything worked well (only tested a 15 minutes flight with motion controller)

Ok cool. I just don’t understand why DJI doesn’t announce updates in there website. It so easy.

I’m not sure. I currently don’t have my drone with me to check. But I do know is that I already went through all firmware updates since the flysafe database update error we all had.

Now all of a sudden this firmware update pops up. Not only on my device but several others a spoke offline.

Last time I saw it, yes it was the same. I’m on my way back home and I’ll verify again. I don’t understand why it’s trying to re install same version.

Check out that guy's video, Test #3 he finally figures out how to do it.

Does not work on all fpv. I tried all modes. Guess you have a good fpv. I must have a defected one. Half of my LEDs lights do not work after installing the arm braces. This is great

Can you exchange? My friend friend got one with a none functioning remote control button and he just took it back. I myself exchanged one because of an error we all had not too long ago.
