Appologies beforhand if this has been discussed. Filming in 4k on my Air 2s, when trying to play mpeg4 files, windows 10 askes me to buy HEVC video extensions for $0.99 in the store. Please help. What am I missing? Is it a setting I'm useing in the video settings?

As mentioned from others, use VLC as it's free. Sidenote though, that Win10 codec used to be free a few years ago, not sure when they changed this and started charging folks.

     As they are pointing out, download and use VLC since it is already using all the latest codecs.  Microsoft is just going to charge you $.99 for a file extension that might be required if you are not using an up-to-date player / video processor like VLC.

Thanks for the link. I was able to download the Codec and play the video fine on my Lenovo L540.
