I use CPL on handheld camera. It has a rotating element in the front. I need to be adjusted when the angle of reflection changes which happens constantly during a shoot. Not sure how this thing works on a drone away from the user though, feels inconvenient albeit it is probably the better than no filter when it comes to reflection removal.
It all depends on what your are shooting. If flying over water, you will not have to change it, Set it at 90 degrees (3 o'clock position) and leave it there.
However.... it does not works as well when looking straight down, as in the above video. It works best at an angle of 45 degrees to the surface. I took these photos with my MA2 sitting on a dock. I shot in several directions and no readjustment was needed. These are typical.
