Hello there John Walker. Good day and thank you for reaching out. Kindly please power on the DJI Pocket 2 , then on the touch screen swipe down to open the Menu tab, now tap the Settings Icon. Once you are in Settings tab scroll down and tap the Factory Reset. When prompted tap the "Reset" to reset your DJI Pocket 2. In addition, your friend will have to setup their own DJI account for them to be able to use the said DJI camera. Thank you.

Thank you. I hadn't realised that the RESET option was a factory reset.

Hello. I have an overheating error. I've factory reset my device and am still getting the error. I'm also in a fairly cold area, and have not been using the device. The error occurs every time the device is turned on. Is there anything I can do about this? My device isn't even 6 months old. Very disappointing.

Hi there. Sorry about the trouble. Is this for Osmo Pocket 2? May we know what is the exact error message or code? Thank you very much.
Yes, it is the Osmo Pocket 2 and the error message is “Gimbal overheated” and this occurs every time I turn the device on, almost immediately. The gimbal also will not rotate the orientation when I turn the device to the side to shoot vertically anymore.
