Today I flew for the first time since this update 1.4.8 and it was a nightmare. Phone freezing lost connection, freeze recording, big camera image delay and the phone no more would work unless restarted. # 3 batteries in a row and always the same issues. I don't know what to do...

Uninstall 4.8. And instalj 4.2 was my solution

I had the same issue with v1.4.8.  Uninstalled that version and then installed v1.4.2  You can get previous editions below.

May I suggest you are able to download latest 1.4.8 DJI Fly directly from the DJI website. I suggest you do as flying with such an old app version as you currently do is very dangerous and could result in flight safety issues for your bird!

May I suggest that DJI put the app on the Play Store like everyone else rather than on the DJI  website.

Thank you for your reply. I have a Xiaomi Mi9 T Pro wich is not on the compatibility list but worked flawlessly until version before 1.4.8.

Thanks, have tried that but doesnt work at all . I have a phone which is not on the notorious DJI list , I am assuming thats the problem. I dont have any issues with using the 1.4.0 version though

Absolutely no doubt the reason for your issue is the fact the said mobile you are using is not compatible with the said drone and hence, the said app will not function correctly.

Best version of the 1.4.8 for me is 1.4.8 (116). Before installing new version of the app, better to do clean installation. After deleting the old DJI app, also need to delete DJI folder manualy. For me this method works good. Before deleting the folder, don't forget to backup your flying data in to the cloud. Maybe this method of the update will solve your problem.

At first I was leery of doing updates because of problems I’d read here. After a few trouble free updates, I would just update as they came around. That is until 4.8. A few good flights, then can’t view my flights after download. Then yesterday the drone was in sight and still shows no connection, etc. Thanks for posting the previous software versions. I’ll never update till I read enough positive feedback.

I had also a lot of problems with 1.4.8 downgraded to1.4.4 en all problems where gone.
Because 1.4.4 was a major firmware update for aircraft en batteries I won't go back to further version.

I would love to try 1.4.8 (1116) if you write where to download it from. Unfortunately 1.4.8 (120) is totally unacceptable due to freezing transmission.
