So as a follow up to yesterdays post about the new camera rig attached to the M2P (see https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... &extra=page%3D1 ) here is the first image from that setup.

This is a full spectrum IR image taken with a modified canon camera,  running custom firmware called CHDK which amounst many thing allows you to script the camera usage, in this case Im scripting an intavolometre to take a shot every 15 seconds.  Sadly trying to guess when that will be on first attempt was impossible,  I got many very blurry shots as I ws moving the drone when the shutter went off.   To fix that I wrote a quick iphone app to sync the shutter sound to a phone so I'll know when the shutter goes off.

Not the best first shot,  but its a starting point for further experiments.

thanks Blériot53.   I think its a fairly simple process but will take a few attempts before I start eating better results.   IR photographer in itself is not that easy to get a nice image.   In some ways its the opposite of regular photography norms like avoiding midday, with IR you want as strong a sun as possible.
