I can get the app on my phone but I wanted a bigger screen so I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 and cannot find a app for it. Doese anybody know if there IS one? Don't want 2 spend $500 on a ipad.

The Samsung  uses an android operating system. The app for DJI is available on their web site under the downloads for the model Phantom you have. It's also available from the Google Play store.

cannot find anything on samsung and the playstore app is only for phones

The Vision app is for Smartphones.
Some tablets can emulate smartphone apps, but not all.

So I guess I should return the tablet as it is usless ?

I am sure its a very good tablet, just not for what you want It to do, the recommended devices are listed below.

It must be the specific tablet you have, I am using it with my old 10" HP touchpad with android rom .

can you side load the apk directly rather than store and try it .

Mr. Kirk , Please accept my apologies for my ignorance !  I have been flyin 4 a few yrs. now , but this new tech. with the camera is overwhelming , 4 my small brain! I appreciate all the help I can get ! I figgered it out and fell so stupid and didn't mean 2 vent. Thanx 4 ur imput!  

I use DJI Vision, DJI Ultimate Flight, Litchi, Vision Pilot, and a few more on all my devices with no problems.

Samsung Galaxy S5 < I started out with this but the screen was too small
Samsung Note 2 10.1 < too big to try to hang on to
Acer 8" tablet < not my favorite but my primary flight tablet. A good size. I made a bracket so it attaches to my TX.
