Air 2s not calibrating

I just received my air 2s and was doing the normal calibration on my windows laptop. The calibration was successful, but on the app, it still says I need to restart the DJI fly app and drone (code 30226 and I need to do still the calibration (180007), which I've done over 5 times. Please help! it's so bad on DJI's part that this is happening, especially for a brand new drone brought straight from DJI's site. Thanks in advance

Hi Rohin. Did the Fly app prompted you to calibrate right after unboxing? It is weird because my brand new A2S never prompted me to do a calibration before my 2nd flight, that too was a simple IMU calibration.

Where did you get the idea that you needed to recalibrate anything on your brand new drone?
You would have been better off following the manual etc.
They don't have any suggestion that you should recalibrate things.

Of course! Below is the screen shot. Basically its saying i need to do a vision system calibration required. Can't do anything until that calibration is done. Ive done the calibration about 5 times usijg the dji assistant 2 app on my pc. Successful calibration every time.

If the error codes still pop out in the app,  please send the aircraft back for further examination. So unusual for a brand new drone to push calibration for the first time use. Try this - Refresh your Drone FW, Then Refresh your RC FW, Uninstall Fly and reinstall v1.4.8 build 1185 (beta), Login to your DJI account, and then Re-bind everything from scratch.

Make sure to do all of this in a well-lit area and remember to Keep the gimbal cover off.

I hope this will at least give you a resolution whether you need to send it back or not. Hope for the best (y)
