Great app but I had a problem connecting my Nexus 9 with 5.1.1
In the end the procedure was:
Turn on controller
Turn on plane
DO NOT connect controller USB cable to tablet
turn on App
Connect controller USB cable to tablet

Now the app finds the drone.

k have both 9 and the 7 so good tips
