Yeah, he will love flying in a few short years. Buy the RealFlight SIM for him, soon. ;-)
Start him off with sitting in your lap and you show him how to operate the controls.
Both your hands on the radio controller and demonstrate how the models fly and change direction.
Train him, and allow him to learn the muscle memory necessary of flying. Good for you. Awesome for him.

I hope that your new Phantom 3 is as awesome as mine has been, it flies flawless and feels Incredible every lift off, to me.
