I was wondering what the posibility is of adding the resolution of 2.7K to the camera options. Most, if not all the other drones in the DJI fleet have this option. As it is, it's either 1080 or straight to 4K. When flying in manual mode for longer flights in 4K, it splits the footage into 2 parts, which is annoying. This would not happen with 2.7K. As it is, I normally get around the 3mins 40secs mark before it splits the clips. I also use this option with my GoPro too and the difference is almost unnoticed on playback. Any chance this can be put in the pot for future improvements by the devs ?

I only shoot 2.7K on my M2.
Good optimum between resolution and file size.
Also the compression seems to be less on 2.7K.

Same here on the Mini 2 and GoPro. It's just an all round good resolution to work with afterwards.

+1 only if there will be higher framerates(or bitrate) @2,7k compared to 4K, otherwise it's still better to have 4k image and crop it in post.

2.7K 60FPS is more than fast enough for my freestyle/racing kwads. Doubt they will add it though somehow

What resolution should I use on my new Mini2 as I only have 1080 TV etc.
I have just shot in 2.7k and very good too, but apparently on You Tube it takes some hours to attain the higher quality after uploading.  Is 1080p good enough, I know it is said at least you will have higher res if you needed it in the future but it is a lot of data and upload time.

True, it takes a lot of time for YT to render the 2.7K.
