Summer - a great time to fly "cinematic" fpv.  Recorded with: DJI fpv drone, GepRC Cinelog 25 HD (and SMO 4K) and a few takes with the Rekon 5 (and SMO 4K).

Great flying Depp.     You certainly getting through those batteries.

I can only envy the skills you have developed over the last 12 months. These flights always exhilarate. But I know I no longer have the dexterity or reflexes to attempt this facet of the hobby.

Well, that I don't know. It depends on the way you fly. The DJI fpv drone has two slower/easier modes that you can see in Alex' videos. So you can ease into it nicely.
And of course it's a question of what you like and so on.
With the "normal" GPS drones I don't like the flying in itself all that much. But with fpv the flying itself is fun - until you crash or lose signal...

Close to crashing the drone? Depends on the drones: Mini 2 - never except when I really crashed and killed it (see my DJI care refresh does it really work video on YT).
Rekon 5 - very seldom unless when it loses signal or video which does happen. Then it really crashes. Nipping a tree branch happens once in 2 to 5 flights.
DJI fpv - pretty much never except nipping a tree branch but I fly this one more cautiously.
Cinelog 25 (the one with the excavator) - always. Crashed it quite a few times. The prop guards very seldom crack and often the camera mount becomes disconnected which takes 1-3 minutes to reconnect.

I have to say I'm not surprised as it seemed (to my FPV-unexperienced eye, both from the flier / observer perspective ) you flew very close to various objects to the point of crashing... Takes some practice I can imagine. Keep up the great work, the videos are awesome.

Though thrill is part of the game I try to keep it safe. And safe it is to crash with a whoop flying slow and crashing into trees... At least safe enough ;-)
