and (over night) another new build: 1.4.12 (1430) has anyone tried the newest version for Android and has identified differences from the previous builds?

do the DJI technicians read the DJI forum ? looking for feedback ????

did a test flight this morning everything working exept the led keep solid green here and the gimbal reset also not working

I'm sticking with the version which works for me, until there's more feedback (positive or negative).

Eventually, one would think that DJI has to fix these 2 remaining issues.  Or, ??????

There is another issue, perhaps its just me, some times a fresh battery will register only 6% when in fact its 100% full, no amount of restarting, changing the battery etc will sort it, only a restart of the ap will, anyone else seen this?

I have only read about this problem and have not experienced it myself, so I thought it might only happen with other DJI models e.g. the Mavic Air. If it also happens to you with the Mini 2, please give me the firmware versions of all your hardware so we can compare.

Not sure without powering it all up but what i can say definitively is that i am on the latest build of everything as of Friday Morning GMT, but, i have just seen that this latest build is the same, someone else had the issue too, i also had the issue last weekend and that was on build 1420

I believe the reason DJI is not responding to the issues mentioned here is their focus would most likely be on the firmware working well for the new Mavic 3 Pro being released soon! I don't even know if they are concerned about the past purchasers at this time. We will see, probably JJB is correct version 1480 will be good in a few weeks!

I did a test flight this PM, I did not see any errors on (1430) but I did not try to change the front LED or do any Gimbal settings! On the mini 2 I got about 2,000 feet with great signal, no drop outs suburban area.

In fact, in my case some setting do reset, and some don't. If I remember correctly the Pitch settings will reset to the default values, but the Yaw-settings will not.
In Fly app 1.4.8 (1185) this works correctly.

I think I'm going to give up on the constant faiIure of software updates and look for another brand of drone. I was
still waiting for a final no bug release of
1.4.8 and now we have a half dozen
builds on 1.4.12 and can't do something
as simple as turn on a LED. I HAD NOT
PLANED ON THIS DRONE BEING AN
ONGOING EXPERIMENT.

Sorry..it's just frustrating and causes me to worry every time I fly. I've just about lost my faith in the drone because of software mistakes.

I had similar thoughts but I learned that frustration comes with all drones. If you switch to another brand then you will simply end up with "the same movie but other actors".

Was having the issue with DJI fly app blank screen and app restart in the middle of the flight or changing settings. Hope to revert back to the version before 1.4.12

Can anybody mind sharing the best version of DJI fly app before 1.4.12?

yes that before 1.4.12 in 1.4.8 have a freeze app, logout etc
now never have a problem, run smooth fly day and night no problem at all

My case is totally opposite from yours. Mine got no issue with 1.4.18 . 1.4.12 is sort of unstable version to my scenario.

So, I went back to 1.4.4 for a couple of days and then moved to 1.4.8. Everything seems ok. Now, 1.5.0 is out. Anyone ready to give this one a try? I've heard they fixed the LED issue but not the gimbal reset.

Try turning off "Auto HD Photo Sync" and "Cache Recording" in camera setting, abd make sure to turn ON airplane mode on ur mobile device.

Remember to report back if that helps or not, so far they seem to work for me.

I can't find the fly app in the play store on my pixel 6. Any help? I'm a newbie here.

The Fly App was removed from the PlayStore long ago.  You would have to get it from;

To have the version Fly App 1.5 vers. 1870  you have to update directly from the Fly APP (vers. 1.4.8 or 1.4.12). If you install from the downlod link you'll optain the 1.5 vers. 1855 with LED problem unsolved .

I did a clean install of the SDK downloaded from DJI downloads, The version i received is 1.5.0(1870-official) This version still doesn't work on Samsung S21 with Android 12, even though the Phone is on the list of supported devices!! I only have a black screen, no display from the camera. I have tried all the suggestions, turn of Cache Sync, HD photos off. still the same issue.
Think R&D are only interested in getting the App to run on the Mavic 3, even at this point in time the Mavic three doesn't have all features running, Active track, dronies etc...

Hi.. No still the same issue. Just a black screen. I have rolled back through various app versions, still the same issue…Home point follows drone, then returns to the controller. Looks like a night flight!!
