2 batteries used for 2 flights using the latest Android FlyApp 1.4.12 [ 1430 ]
Did not noticed any out of the usual...so tested and oke!

Plus for FRAP users, added an option to combine 2 flights in one log.
see data in the chart ; landed my MM2 45 meters away from me, rotors stopped (thus new flightrecord), and flew away from there....
Soon this in an updated version.

I wonder how many of this latest round of updates are for testing functions with the new drones to be released shortly? DJI is obviously no longer concerned with the Mini 2, otherwise the LED would be fixed already. I just flew with the newest update. Fly needed to be restarted to show the correct battery level, the LED control STILL doesn't work. Other than that, it worked fine. No lag, good distance, everything else I checked seemed good.

I changed battery while the flyapp was still running, and shortly after powering up my Mini2 connected again battery level indicated the correct % level.

Weird that others have to restart the app.  Guess will be corrected in 1435, 1440, ****

Problems with 1.4.12 (1430):
- I can't manage the front light setup
- in the controller, if you select the manual mode instead of mode 1, 2 or 3 to select how the move of the levers works, you can't control the mini 2 as expected.

oke, will check your findings in the next flights.

for me:
- Front light up, never use that gimmick.
- Always fly with stick mode 2

It’s a great juxtaposition. Would make a good pano I think.

Great feedback JJB*.  Unfortunately, I still need to restart Fly to get it to show the correct battery level.  Not worried about the LED issue.

In addition, using 1430:
I have noticed that media does not contain EXIF data (for instance no GPS location, no DateTimeOriginal etc...)

If you download it to the phone gallery, all the info is there.

I was using wireless download from mini2 to my phone (Galaxy S21 5G) and there's no exif data on downloaded photos, I would say at all.

Since the upgrade to 1.4.12 my photos arent caching to the phone anymore. Is there something I am missing?

caching pictures is a setting in the fly app (no need to powerup/connect drone, just the app)

Until the settings are found - the photos are already on the mobile - have a look in the folder
Android/data/dji.go.v5/files/DCIM/OriginalFiles/Photo

they moved them there in the first 2 versions then moved them back to the original location in the 3rd version and then moved them back again in the 4th version, just wish they would sort it out.

Rolled back to 1.4.0 and photos are cached onto phone again.

Thanks for the info. Enjoyed the view, esp the under the bridge section - ever tried yawing around while under the bridge so you are looking backward as you come out on the other side?

why this question, do you think it is not possible to yaw your drone under a bridge?

As long as you have good reference than in case if loss of GPS drone into OPTI (if there is good reference/light).

But be carefull if you fly low and the water flows....Vision can go wrong
