Beautiful footage,  really enjoyed flying in Tuscany until everything we had with us was stolen.

Thanks! You need to apply via www.d-flight.it app and register through there. It costs 9€ for a yearly license. Then you can get approvals for city flights.
However, some old towns (such as Florence) you will only get approval far away from the tourist hot spots. Thats why I could not fly closer.

No breaking,    we found out later then is a big scam going on.  Basically the crooks hire cheap cars,   get a key cut for it and install a GPS tracker.   They then wait for the cars to be parked up and then let themselves in and take what they like.   We were on our way back to Pisa airport and stopped in Pisa for lunch,  when we returned to the car is was locked and empty. We had our passports,  phones and e-tickets and that was about it.   The police didnt care but the lady in the carpark we spoke to told us it happens multiple times a day.

It actually gets worse as the police 6 months later sent us a fine for parking at the police station where there are literally no signs to say no parking.

Yes.  Fining for parking at the police station.   You have to deal with the from outside through a window so why they wouldn’t mention it I don’t know.
