I have both Mavic 2 zoon and Mavic 2 pro using Smart Controller. I do like flying drone with a smart-controller. As I saw the DJI Events a moment ago, I am considering a combo one and it costs almost 3000 dollar. The new smart-controller pro costs 1200 dollers, so it costs 4200 dollar totally, and I cannot effort it. If I can use the first generation of Smart-Controller, I can save some money at least.



Please let me know whether I can use the first generation of Smart Controller or CrystalSky for Mavic 3?

I have 6.8 inch CrystalSky. Probably it doesn't work for Mavic 3 too.

Not sure on that one.  But most likely not.  I think they want to push this V2 controller.  Which looks amazing too.

Hello, there. Sorry for any inconvenience. DJI Mavic 3 can be used with DJI RC Pro and DJI Smart Controller is not supported.

Well if the Mavic 3 plus new SC costs $4200 you might as well go another $700 and get the all the flagship features.  The original SC costs around $750 but the new SC runs around $1200 making that over a 50% increase in price.  WTF

The smart controller or whatever it is called now wil never be worth buying just use the normal controller and a decent 6s or above I phone works far better

You've got a point. I'd use a S7+ with OLED screen on a modified mount.  I use it for the M300.
Does anyone know if the RC that comes with mavic 3 ( not the Cine). has got a HDMI output?

Follow up question:  Is the new Smart Controller that ships with the Cine able to control legacy aircraft like the M2P or even the original MP?  M2EA?

A "limited" usability would be very nice, even if, for example, the range would of course not be that high and probably also the live playback on the screen ...
