I've made a video of sorts recounting my experiences with the new Rode AI-Micro audio interface when connected to the Action 2.

Chief points are -

- It works
- It's just about exactly the right size to stick to the back of the screen module with velcro or something - but bear in mind heat dissipation from that surface.
- There is a significant issue with the Rode interface with the Action 2 AND with any other device, due to it not working properly with stereo mics using plug-in-power.  You only get sound on the left hand channel.  It's fine with powered stereo mics.   I've asked Rode to look into this.

Overall if you want the best audio interface for the Action 2, this is probably it, but it's not the cheapest thing.
