1.5.1 available

Still only showing 1.5.0 or will this be 1.5.1 when downloaded. Has this fixed any of the issues?

Unfortunatly it came at the same moment of an update of the fly base.
Got stocked in the update, disconnecting the drone and then telling the drone ought to be connected, firmware mismatch,...

Used the assistent to update the fly base. After that updated the app.
Short flight went well. Didn't check if anything is solved.

There comes a day you will crash/flyaway your mini2 if your are always update the fly-app to newest version.
Nothing new for mini2 added, so stick to 1.4.2 imo. (as release notes says)

Just hoping that one version will alow me to fly mini2 and have video feed to phone.

Yes.  Just checked again. No sign yet.

Any release notes?

release note was fix some problems but the gimbal reset is stil the samepitch reset but the yaw still not reset

so far I have really frequently downloaded always ASAP, but do clean install each time. Deleting all traces of DJI on the phone all folders, files, txt left behind. Other than the previous apps having some screen delay or getting stuck whilst flying and stuttering problems, I have had no issues with losing the drone or it flying away. I don't know if this is helping me when I delete all traces of the app and rebooting

I think it is not necessary to do unless you downgrade version

I do exactly the same thing. I really don't know why people keep all those log and other files anyway. Unless something specifically happened I don't know what the big deal is keeping all that.

Does this fix the broken HLG mode on the Air 2S?

Did somebody checked if they put back the visual sign of exposure lock on video mode? This is really the only thing that i am interested in seeing in these new versions of the fly app. I wonder how hard it will be to put it back? Until then....i am hoping...

I do exactly the same thing. I really don't know why people keep all those log and other files anyway. Unless something specifically happened I don't know what the big deal is keeping all that.

I agree I even wipe all logs after each flight

I updated and noticed that setting RTH height wouldn't move.  I'm hoping it moves once things are ready to go ... but in the past versions, you could move that slider bar even if the drone was off.

I went back to 1.4.2 as recomended. Uninstalled what I had was 1.5.0, thought that was enough as removed the catch and everything it had saved first.  Here I was up in thje air almost 400 feet and my tablet that was conected went black, and I was in shock. I have a Samsung Galasy S6 Lite
in Air Plane mode with no interuptions selected on  it. The drone stayed up in the air, but those 2 seconds seemed like a night mare. Got it back down to the ground in one pieace wipeing the sweat of my fore head.. Going back to 1.4.8 (1150)  as that seemed to work before with no problems.

Was only able to get this new version when the app launched and offered the update, to be honest I was on 1.4.8 as its more stable than any version so far, it wasn’t available via the usual download link at DJI site.
As mentioned they haven’t fixed the dam yaw reset issue, this has been prevalent since the first 1.4.12 of which there were no less than 4 versions plus the 3 lots of 1.5.
That’s 7 versions of the app and still not fixed

My phone(S21 Ultra) updated to Android 12 this morning. Just to be safe, I uninstalled Fly. Installed then updated Fly to 1980. Took my Mini 2 out for a flight. Everything worked great. The exposure lock is back and works great.

Thought I read, or saw,  you had to upgrade the app through the app itself on a youtube video if I understand corectly. I do to much research it seems....

Thats cause all of those versions were staging for the M3, and we were the alpha, then beta testers, that's more important now, in their eyes, unless issues arent constantly report as not working they will assume its now working and thus not get resolved, so if anyone sees any issues with the latest app version you've installed, you need to report it to the service email addy

Old function, but still not working on mini 2.

Another problem with 1980, I have to log in each time the app starts. Never had to before.
