Hello,

I have been performing initial tests of the new Mavic 3.  


My mavic 3 (brand new condition, never crashed droppd ect, and only flown about 3 times for testing purposes) during initial test flights I noticed it has a leg resonance during hover.  The vibration is not constantly happening, but happens atleast half of the hover.  While hovering one leg will start to vibrate.  If I yaw the drone, the wobble sometimes moves to the other leg. Sometimes the vibration goes away for a few seconds then comes back to one or both legs. Inspecting the propellers, nothing seems damaged or bent.   


I attached a short video clip with a slow motion at 20 seconds since the vibration is near some multiple of the camera frame rate.

Is this normal? Anyone else noticing this issue?

Yeah, send the drone back. That could get much worse if you keep flying it that way.

I wonder if the recent firmware update changed anything.

I would recommend you contact our support team at https://www.dji.com/support?site=brandsite&from=nav for further assistance. We will do their best to find out the reason of the issue and then the corresponding resolution would be provided. Just a friendly reminder that  DJI do not recommend doing a DIY in fixing the said DJI drone to avoid further damaging the said unit and voiding the said warranty of the said DJI product. Thank you.

Definitely not normal.  Need to take it back for replacement if bought locally or return to DJI if ordered directly from them.

Update!  I sent the drone back, and DJI replaced it.  No issues with the replacement drone and cold temperatures.  Thanks for the support DJI!

Sounds like a good experience over all.  Defects happen, but it sounds like DJI took good care of you.
