Hi

Just bought a Phantom 3 Pro ans the user manual mentions several time to connect the drone to the PC and to launch the DJI Pilot Apps... but I cannot find it anywhere on the DJI site.

Can someone please advise on where to find that Apps?

e.g. page 16 "Flight Recorder" chapter

Is DJI release a finish product or are we beat testing it? Looks like that they never tested the firmware upgrade either with all the different RC they sale.

e.g. Model B does not recognize the last firmware update...

There is no PC app. Its talking about the PIlot App ( IOS or Android ).

This is to access the onboard logs of the Phantom.

So, that means when they say on page 16 "To access these data, connect the aircraft to the PC through the Micro=USB port " you have to disconnect your tablet (android or IOS) from the RC and connect it to the Phantom 3 USB port?

Yes that is correct.  However you will find you only need to access the Flight Recorder data if you have a crash (and believe a warranty claim is in order)...or some other issue with your Phantom, and DJI Support instructs you to retrieve this information for them.  The manual is just telling you it's there...but if you do ever end up in need of downing this  data, you'll be given more complete instructions.  You do not need to download the internal Flight Data under normal circumstances.

not tested in flight.

Are you sure there is such app? Or did you mean DJI Vision app?

Sorry to have misled you , on second look , the new app on the PC is for the Vision model range of Phantoms , and tablet PC that support touch screen,  if there is this one for a PC tablet for vision , maybe hope for the future with P3 and windows tabs ? ,  the one on the Windows store is called  Dji Vision II

alamomike, the DJI Pilot app is no longer available. It has been replaced by DJI GO.
