With Mavic 2 Pro it was possible to move gimbal laterally (left or right), at least a little bit.Is it currently possible with Mavic 3? Or has anyone heard of any plans for that, January or not?

Yes it is, but not as far as you can with M2, same procedure hold finger on remote screen and move left and right. The vertical movement is a lot more impressive with M3.

Hi, there. DJI Mavic 3 support rotating the gimbal leftwards and rightwards, and the controllable range is ±5°. Hope this helps.
