I think it was in the landfill site thats behind the drone in that shot.

Theres an old victorian landfill near me that used to have underground fires a lot,  its now been fenced off and we've not had any issue for many years. but the main landfill has never affected us before.

I remember, on the outskirts of Manchester there was an enormous landfill site which was emitting so much methane they had flare-off chimneys drilled into the ground to draw it off and burn it. They were like constant enormous candles in the dark.  Then I saw another one at the end of the M74 on the approach to Glasgow, where they had put in an installation to draw off the gas and use it as fuel.

It makes sense to capture it as fuel.
