Note that the update may reset various main controller settings, such as the RTH altitude and the maximum flight distance, to default settings. Before updating, take note of your preferred DJI Fly settings, and readjust them after the update.
If the update fails, restart aircraft, remote controller, and DJI Fly or DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic, and retry.
At this stage I think DJI is just pushing firmware updates so people don't realize their safety limits are reset then go ahead and lose their drone. Then it is Mini SE or 2 time! Lol just jokes. I wonder what they put in this update. Description is so vague as usual. Good work still caring about oldies!

Hello there Frontliner 2020. Good day and thank you for the reply. Again, thank you for your valued support and have a nice day.
Hi Stephen!
Will it be necessary to update all batteries, too?
In the past six months DJI is wasting time trying to block DH and other Hacks instead of fixing the real bugs and improve their drones and displeases its customers.

I am certain that the Mini SE, Mini 2 and Mavic 2 will follow soon.

For finally releasing a firmware update for the Mini. Been forever since the last firmware update and at least this means the Mini has not reached EOL.

This update serves absolutely no other function other than to block the DH hack. No features, bug fixes, nothing. Simply to stop a hack.
Maybe hack will catch up as with all the fw updates? DH did not say they cannot hack 600 fw on mini yet. I think the unable to downgrade part on other models is pretty sus haha

Cannot find DJI Fly for the original Mavic Mini, using Android 10. I have it for the Phantom but that does not apply to the Mavic.
You have to sideload it. It's not in the Play store.

Ya, this is why my next drone is not going to be a Mavic 3; DJI's forced restrictions are ugly.
After installing this update I am unable to fly in an "Authorization Zone". I submitted for and received approval via flysafe. I am prompted, via the controller, to acknowledge that I am in an Authorization Zone. I checked the three boxes accepting responsibility for flying in the Authorization Zone. Once I hit the 'Accept' button I receive an error and the drone will not deploy.
