DJI Go stopped working on my phone after a system update. I took an old phone, installed DJI Go there, and when I launched the app, it connected to the drone, showed "Go Fly" and then changed the button to "Activate". I tried activating with my user (the one that the drone is already registered to), but it keeps failing with server error (-2). I tried a few times over the last week, but this happens all the time. I tried a third phone (my wife's) and the same happens.

Why is it asking me to activate a drone that I activated a couple of years ago? Why is the activation fails? Is there a way to get more infomation about this?

S/N for the drone is: 0K1DEC52AC0314.

Note: the drone was broken and undergone some fixing, then had a gimbal issue (see https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... p;page=1#pid2606548), but I was able to use DJI Go for a while after it was fixed before this suddenly blocks me.

FTR, I contacted DJI support (through chat) and they told me I need to download the DJI Go app directly from their website, since the version in the Play Store is not up-to-date.

The API is available at: https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-go-4

The problem with this is that my "main" phone is linked to my work account, and I can't install anything outside of the play store (admin restriction). On another phone, this actually solved my problem.

Does anyone know why DJI doesn't keep their app updated in the Play Store?
