I'm thinking about getting an adapter for my Mini 2 remote control, to use my iPad Mini as the display rather than my iPhone.  Although it would add bulk (so I probably would not always use it), the extra screen real estate that the iPad Mini provides would be nice in those cases where I'm less concerened about how compact the setup is and more concerned about getting "the big picture."

Can anyone recommend a good remote control extension for this combination?  Any that you've tried that you would recommend avoiding?
