During gimbal calibration the gimbal won't calibrate verticaly, it just snaps vertically slightly. Horizontally on the other hand is fine. Whats worst is yesterday for my video verification it workd just fine, because I litterally calibrated it about 16 times. Now today it wont go vertically. I only attemted to do it today because the signal from my DJI RC CONTROLLER keeps droping. Please help me. I'M a newbie!

Thank you for responding so quickly DJI Stephen. To answer your question no i haven't had a hard landing or a crash at all. I have a lot of plants in my house and the most I've done is clipped a vine off my philodendron pothos! Yesterday I did about 16 to 17 videos recalibrating the IMU and the gimbal. I had so much because I was having connection issues with my DJI RC PRO ( NEW ) controller. I can send you all of them if you'd like. Today I switched back to the remote that came with the mavic 3 did another calibration from my phone and I realize the gimbal was no longer going vertically. but it does it fine when in flight or stationary. I just embedded it for you, I will try mine later but when gimbal initialises before start up its pretty much the same. So I’m wondering if it just does a vertical and horizontal or just horizontal. How is the alignment of the gimbal.

You must not calibrate the gimbal in an uneven surface like that. Put your drone in a flat and level surface and try to calibrate again.

Thank you Msera this was just to show that it wouldn’t go vertically after many time calibrating it. My daughter was on oculus in the living room. This was the only time I’ve ever did this. Nonetheless though thank you for your concern

The alignment is as expected perfect. i could be mistaken but i could of sworn it was going vertically the day before yesterday. please check yours.

Just done gimbal calibration. Basically camera left camera right then just a shivery movement at centre and calibration complete. All other drones I have calibrate slightly different but apart from Mavic 1 there is no vertical calibration. I mean the others camera does move to vertical but its not for calibration . So unless mine is broke you can take it its just those 3 simple moves.
