Hi guy, I was flying my mini 2 about an hour ago and all of a sudden I'm traveling at 17 m/sec and I'm able to do much faster turns all in low wind conditions. I always fly in sports mode but never before have I seen it go faster then 10.3 meters per second. should I be worried?

Mine tops out at 36mph in sports mode which is 16m/s.   If you take off in sport mode the drone will limit you to normal mode and you have to flick the switch over to N and back again even though the software will tell you your in sports mode.

I always wondered why normal and sports mode didn't make that much more of a difference but I never really had it in sports mode before. thanks

No Probs Sir.

Max sport speed in datasheet is = 16m/s  ........  10m/s is max in normal mode

I need to try sport speed, the results seem to be interesting... thanks for sharing your case

Just be careful because I've done alot of damage to my mini 2 due to hitting a tree twice in sports mode.
2 arms are broken and 2 out of the 4 the gimbal rubber mounts are busted along with my pride. I still felt It could have gone worse.

Most of the parts have arrived for the repair, Lucky It was still functioning well. I'm going to modify it in a few months with controllable outputs through using the color change function of the front led so when I re assemble it I will do all the repairs as well.
