Although I would personally have shortened it to about 3 minutes with more variations in shots. Possibly throwing in some DSLR shots with nice blurred background.
That would not make it ASMR, I know, but that is not my thing anyway

Seriously. Definitely recommend you go Turkey sometime and have a full Turkish Hammam and Full Turkish Barber experience. They have the most amazing skilled barbers and it will leave you looking 10 years younger

Also, with this 2 camera setup, my bag is getting more and more heavy. If I had my 5D Mark 3 (which I agree, would of made better bokeh), it would be such a workout

I have 3 active youtube channels and during my 15 youtube years I have seen quite some changes in watch time on my video's.
I think it really depends on the audience. For my tech channel the average watch time  is about 2 minutes.
My personal channel (drone video's etc.) is even shorter.
Only my trains and trucks channel has a much longer average viewing time. (4-5 minutes)
I can't see yours, but I think you need to have something super interesting (like a vlog - documentary style) video that people will be watching more than 10 minutes.
Youtube has been pushing shorter video's lately, which is also an indication of what they find popular


So it is very much depending on the type of video and audience I guess.

Yeah, it would be a true workout. I know. I bring the DSLR almost everywhere because it gives much better footage.
(plus a tripod, mic, lenses, charger, filters etc.)

Definitely think there's a lot of changes to Youtube algorithms. We all keep changing and making our videos SEO friendly but if the YT algorithm keeps changing that's hard.

I guess what I have realised is no matter how much you change SEO of a channel - Title, Description, Tags (Not relevant anymore), it doesn't matter as in the end, the quality of the video and watchtime is what matters, which in turn gets subscribers.

But 100% thanks to DJI forum like this we can be seen by a wider audience

Passion for Youtube is definitely so important. There's so many Channels on YouTube that have no passion. It's constant upload and making content for views instead of engagement.
