Does anyone know if the Mavic 3 Bag is covered under warranty? One of  the straps is tearing. After all it is a $300 item...thanks.

I am sure it is. Everything sold with the kit should have warranty.

Close enough. I did hear back from support they’re asking me how did it happen. I said it just looks like the threads are coming apart where it attaches to the bag.

why even post this.  do you need to post this to find out if dji will give you a new one?  im suprised you even use it.  its a expensive drone, get a plastic case for it.  some fat S sits on your drone in that back pack and you will be complainging about more then just a rip.

NO problem, update to the latest firmware. This will optimate it to auto-repair itself.

Be sure to use dji assistant and down grade to the previous dji bag firmware first. You might do a refresh on the new one to be safe. But, In all seriousness, some aspects on the bag were disappointing. I had quite a few loose threads when I got mine.

I did and they responded asking how it happened...thus beginning what I'm sure is the long drawn out process of trying to deal with warranty.

I know everyone find this funny but your right.  I thought this would be a simple cut  and dry case but nope. First response is HOW DID IT HAPPEN.  You can clearly see the threads coming apart from the photo. I think DJI's warranty procedure is to make so you just give up and say F it.

If it's for real and not a late April Fool's day prank when did you actually recieve the bag?
I am assuming this was a www purchase. I thought most remote purchase warranties start on receipt of the goods. Was the delivery time and date stamped by the carrier?  It wouldn't be so bad if it was a $20 dollar bag but £300, f me that's bad.

You should post this over on Mavic Pilots and every where else you can think of.

yeah that kinda sucks.  the good news is in america, we may not have many good factory workers but we do have good seamstresses.  anyone handy with a needle and thread should be able to stitch that up good as new in no time.  or, sell it on ebay at half price with the defect and use to money to buy a good hardcase.
