Portrait is great for pano!
You get much more height in the frame!

I am quite sure they will have made a much higher pricepoint.
So that renders it out of reach for my occasional use.

I was planning to use some points to cover it from a local store,  but that might wipe those out completely.   I guess it depends on which controller you want with it and if you want the camera upgrade.

If it has cinelike, portrait mode, (much) more power and hyperlapse, I might be tempted to give it a go after some time (quite a bit of time).
M2 is too weak for a lot of situations. Yesterday we had mild wind and it really struggled to make it over 5m/s

Yes,  I find myself in sports more a lot these days with the wind,  but then that sucks the battery quick.

Ive not really found the to be an issue at least if you are flying in a single direction.

That is true.
Straight is ok.
But when making turns etc, it makes quite abrupt changes.

I tried tracking the railway line in sports mode the other day,    there was a cross breeze and it turned out to be trickier than I expected jut to fly a straight cinematic line with the Mini2.

In sports mode it is close to impossible. It seems to bypass some of the stabilization stuff.

The latest leak basically describes it as a Air2S under 249 grams with the option of a different battery for 47 minutes flight time.
