Hi, there.
For your problem with the yellow light, could you please check the following steps and see if your problem can be resolved?
1. Confirm that the remote controller and the aircraft have been powered on.
Press the Power Button once and then press again and hold to power on the remote controller. The product gives a prompt sound when successfully powered on.
2. If there is an SD inserted, please remove the microSD card from the aircraft and restart it. After some third-party microSD cards are inserted, the aircraft may malfunction after the flight. You must rule out the microSD card’s effect on the aircraft. If there is no SD card installed, skip to the next step.
3. Switch the linking method between “Linking with the app” and “Linking with combination buttons”.For linking with the combination button method.
4. If it is invalid, check whether the remote controller has been updated to the latest version. Connect the remote controller to the app. After the connection is successful, check whether there is a prompt to update the firmware. If yes, update the firmware to the latest version and try linking again.
5. If the linking still fails, please check whether the aircraft firmware has been updated to the latest version. Connect DJI Assistant 2 and check the version. Update to the latest version and try linking.
Besides, may we confirm if your controller does not connect to the phone as well?
If yes, please check the following details at the same time:
1. Do you have any protective case mounted on your mobile phone? If so, it may cause poor contact between the connection cable and mobile phone. Please remove the case and try to connect them again.
2. Please disconnect the adapter cable on the left side of the remote controller and use the USB cable of your mobile phone to connect the remote controller and mobile phone through the USB port in the lower middle part of the remote controller handle, then check if the connection is successful.
3. Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable (from both the mobile phone and the remote controller), waiting 10 seconds before reconnecting the USB cable. If possible, retry with another USB
4. Restart the remote controller.
5. When using an Android device, if there is a prompt, be sure to tap [OK].
If a prompt appears on the DJI GO 4 stating that “Open DJI GO 4 when using this USB accessory is connected?”, tap [OK].
If there is no prompt, please instruct the user to enable USB Debugging on their mobile phone:
Launch the DJI GO/DJI GO 4 app, and go to Profile > Settings.
Thanks in advance.
