Dear AllWe are costing up a research rig using the M300RTK platform that will fly there sesnors;  L1 Lidar sensor, plus separate  multi-spectral and radiometric sensors.
Two of these will be mounted into the front dual skyport on the aircraft, my question is about mounting the third.

Does anyone know if it is possible in principle,  to mount the 3rd upward facing single DJI gimbal, to the underside of the aircraft?  An extended lead can allow the gimbal draw it's power from the same port it would if mounted topside.  This  approach would also leave the topside free for mounting the light sensor needed by the multi-spectral unit.  I appreciate the choice of sensor and gimbal will need to come in below the aircraft's MTOM.
