I’ve had this mavic mini for a few months. It’s the original mini. I flew it for a few hours when I got it and it’s sat for the past month or two. I tried firing it up today, it turned on, let me calibrate, and while I was waiting for more satellites to connect- the drone it self turned on (fully charged battery). I tried turning it back on every which way I could imagine. The lights don’t come on, nothing flickers, clicks, etc. I tried other batteries, also fully charged, with no luck.

I’ve had other Mavics and have not had any issues especially like this.

Any help is appreciated

Hello there, I am out of town for the week but will be able to post a video this coming Friday. It’s going to show exactly as I said, fresh battery in Mavic mini, controller is on and connected to phone ready to pair. I press the power button once briefly then again while holding. This is how I turn the controller on, as well as the drone. No lights come on, no lights flicker, the drone doesn’t react in any way.

I have flown countless hours before on Mavics specifically with no issue like this.

One way it could turn off is thermal protection. When motors are off the drone can overheat over time and shut off on its own. Let if cool off then try restart. Was the condition hot?

It went from my house set at 66° to outside which was 71°. It let me turn it on initially, it connected to my phone, it only connected to 5 satellites. After a few seconds it asked for a normal compass calibration which I did, it passed, I sat it back down and after 15 seconds of it sitting on a table the drone itself turned off. It has yet to react or turn on since.

ok that sounds like temp is not the issue. best to send to dji. something is very wrong if it died that fast

Fully charged battery. Going through the normal turn on procedure and nothing happens. What is needed?

Create a ticket with DJI and see if replace in warranty or investigate for you. Replacement at your cost maybe...
