The Camera is the biggest difference. While we think when we see the footage and photos they compare pretty close, in the real world outside of small devices like phones iPads or laptops , like printing big or watching on bigger screens there is real noticeable difference in quality and you’re obviously paying for this. But thats a choice whether you are shooting for your hobby or you need for pro work.

If your shooting video or stills as a hobbyist for family use holidays travel etc “memories” then the Mini 3 is an excellent camera that will record and shoot some lovely stuff and many using it will achieve really great things some will shoot a lot better than others using Mavic 3. But thats down to the photographer.

The other quality differences are the build of the drone power etc these are quite visible . The Mavic 3 IMO is the best drone dji have produced in what many call the prosumer category and I believe we will really see it come into its own now since some very good updates.

The Mini 3 pro is probably the best travel drone because of its weight low noise usability and capabilities as a camera drone and for me anyway the best value drone in its class just now.
