when you will make new FW update for the Smart Controller ?
You do not think it is time for it ?

i have bought a SC bundled with Air2S 3 weeks ago from amazon.
So it is sold, and also on stock.

It may still be going out in retail bundles, but the SC was old a year ago...and given the specs on it, it is ancient by modern standards.  It may not be seeing much more firmware as it is a very "mature" platform.  I wonder if they even have the original developers for the platform working there anymore.

Were still getting app updates for it,  mine updated to 1.6.8 a few days ago.

It's now FLY V1.6.9 as we speak, and also GO4 V4.3.50 if you have a Mavic2. But for firmware updates, I really doubt if there's ever going to be any...

this can not the answer to my initiated post.
Normal process in EU region is:  you must guarantee that you will support and update the hardware 5 years after official announcement of EOS. This announcement does not happened since now.
In case of security bugs of the OS you must patch the OS to secure the drone.
It is not a political company decision, it is also under EU and country law a must DO.
You sell your product in EU, you must accept this law.

thanks.  that didn't pop up this morning when I updating my flight logs I will check for the update.

It’s only security updates they will have to offer and it doesn’t come into effect until 2023.

Before my purchase of the bundle Air2s w SC I asked about a lot of question in the forum.

One from the answers was that yes we will have a FW for the smart controller. I hope soon...

Already I am having issues of lag on the app.  Does anyone use fly app 1.6.9 to the SC with any problems  ? Does the SC can keep up with the fly app updates ?
