I want to make a lanyard setup on my new RC, but I have lots of straps already. I don't really want to pay $25 on Amazon for these bolts and strap, when I don't need the strap.

Can anyone confirm what size bolts these are? I believe they're metric, either size M3, M4, or M5.

I want to find my own d-ring or eye bolts.

Has anyone else come up with what they believe to be a clever solution or use for these bolt holes? I love hearing new ideas!

It's M4 I believe and that probably means 4x 0.7

I don't think that particular one is right though - an M4 metric screw is required.
