Yes we've been lucky so far with the foliage. If the thunderstorms tomorrow bring rain, we may avoid the parched look you;ve got down there.
Lots of early leaf fall though, due to the heat.

We are due storms for most of the week here,   guess I won't be going to the nuclear power station now.

That;s right.  He had many accidents with his prototypes before developing the Bleriot Xl, in one of which he crossed the Channel, crash-landing on the clifftops.  That exploit won him £1000 and a place in the history books
