I have the P2 vision, mine has the compass covered in plastic.  Is this a version 2 or 3 unit ?

Yes my compass looks just like yours although my UAV does not have the upgraded motors or the upgraded controller.  So all I have really is the newer compass.

Looking at the spec sheet on this website, only the Vision + has the new transmitter with the built in batteries and tilt wheel.
