I was wondering if the Inspire 1 had a special moniter or if it could use the tablet ground station or if I have to buy somthing else? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You need a tablet or phone running iOS or Android to control the Inspire 1 flight settings. You can use the same device to monitor video from the camera.

You can also connect any HDMI monitor to the HDMI port on the controller and monitor video that way (though of course you cannot access any aircraft configuration this way).

You CAN, however, connect both at the same time so a pilot can monitor on a device while a cinematogpraher / photographer uses the monitor feed.

These guys sell both feel world and Black Pearl monitors.  Also available from other sources.

GB44, agreed on the alternative Feelworld monitor as opposed to Black Pearl just on battery time alone.
After that it's much of a muchness!

Hi Paul.

Yes it is 720p@30 or 60 frames.
But it is very compressed, so cant be used for live feed TV.

The live feed is for monitoring only
