Yep that suits me just fine. I have a large collection of dji carry cases from fly more kits unused. I tend to go aftermarket.

Never use teh DJI cases to be honest they are always a tight fit and without being mean the quality is normally poor

Agree but it's a good place to keep all the bits if they come for free.
Guess it will be a while till we see 3rd party cases appear.

im going to agree as well.  people will choose their own case; the one they like.  dji case is not free.  fmc is lower w/o the case.

Yup. DJI have got this one all wrong and I think allowed the Marketing greedy guys to drive the ship. I fear they have dropped the ball on this one

my understanding is fpv flyers tend to carry more than one fpv drone and these cases can only fit one avata so why would most fpv flyers want it?  from what i have seen, fpv flyers use well-known branded cases and backpacks, not the boring oem stuff.  again, i think it's the right move from dji to absolutely keep their own cases out of sight unless you want one.

... but the actual controller, the one with the sticks, doesn't even fit in...

True, he will have to be next door. Unfortunately, there is no space for remote controller 2 in the case, nor is the manufacturer DJI counting on controller 2 in the set during sale.

The cheap initial cases are never good. Waiting a few weeks js a good plan. For now a camera bag and dividers is good for me

Our new case for DJI Avata is on the way. Btw, DJI Avata is phenomenal.

Thanks. Not yet. But it's a hard case for the pro-view combo with room for multiple batteries and accessories.

I think many people would prefer to store the Avata Pro-View Combo, the Fly More Kit and the Remote Controller 2. That way you have everything stowed in one place.
The other case manufacturers seem to rely on the fact that everyone only wants to fly with the motion controller.

Agreed - needs to have space for both controllers / ND's and spare batteries for both the drone and goggles.

I got the backpack but I do think it's silly they don't include a case and extra props in the fly more package.

As always, GPC delivers! With all of my aircraft, I like to toss it in the back of the truck and go.

seems a bit expensive at 249$

i agree for the cost of this it should have had a hard case, or at least  something to carry it around
