although there is so less water in the lake, we had a really beautiful sailing-summer this year.

Thanks - well, I flew the Mini 2 only for a few weeks to get pratice for the Mini 3, as that was the one I wanted to have from the beginning.
That is especially as I love the features that the Mini 2 doesn't have (Obstacle avoidence, follow-me and so on)

Nicely done,  Im always wary of getting that close,   I once was hovering when a sailboat sailed into my and the drone just missed the guide wires for the mast.

Yes, it is always a bit risky. But from my point of view that most risky part is to get the drone back while being sailing on the boat.....

Lovely footage. Sailboats are so graceful. Any difficulty landing the drone back on the moving boat?

well problems? no - but I do have to concentrate a lot and found my way to do it (approaching the boat from the backside and flying backwards)

For me it would be POI and maybe lower noise levels. Are they much lower?

I can't give you informations about the noise level. Everybody is telling me how quiet the Mini 3 is, but from my point of view it is not "quiet" it is still too loud.

The Point-Of-Interest is a really nice feature!

Depending of your location you are invited to fly with my Mini 3. - But I am living at the "Bodensee"

Really nice compilation! Great contrast with the sails and hulls against the water and sky, and the overhead shots looking down are a wonderful perspective.

I gave up sailing before I got my first drone so Ive never tried that,   but it sounds fun.
